Adult therapy is collaborative and tailored to each individual’s unique treatment needs. Sessions integrate cognitive behavioral and person‑centered approaches, along with psychoeducation and skills‑based interventions, to reduce symptoms, improve daily functioning, and support progress toward treatment goals. Each session includes at least one practical takeaway or strategy to apply in daily life.
Couples therapy helps partners address relationship challenges with a clear, solution‑focused approach. Sessions emphasize practical skills—like communication, emotional regulation, and problem‑solving—to help you break unhelpful patterns and strengthen your connection. The clinician works collaboratively with couples to identify what’s working, clarify what needs to change, and build the skills needed for a healthier, more supportive relationship.
Child and adolescent therapy incorporates play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and skills‑based interventions tailored to each child’s unique treatment needs. Each session includes at least one practical takeaway or strategy to apply in daily life to support ongoing progress. Parenting interventions are also incorporated to strengthen consistency at home, reinforce new skills, and support the child or adolescent’s therapeutic goals.
We provide ADHD evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults to determine whether diagnostic criteria for ADHD are met and to offer guidance that supports medication management, treatment planning, and academic accommodations.
Our clinical psychologist provides diagnostic evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults to determine an accurate diagnosis for a specific mental health issue. These evaluations are brief and focused, and do not include full psychological testing batteries.
Telehealth therapy offers a convenient option for individuals who prefer to meet virtually through video or audio. Services are available to clients anywhere in Michigan, providing increased flexibility, accessibility, and ease of scheduling. Research shows telehealth to be just as effective as in person treatment (Hilty, et al, 2013).
